ABOUT

Kendra Lund
(she/her) is a 23-year-old Washingtonian soprano currently completing her Master’s degree in Voice Performance and Literature at The Eastman School of Music under Kathryn Cowdrick. Lund holds a Bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Vocal Performance and German Studies where she studied with Dr. Grant Knox.

Lund recently won SongFest’s prestigious Art Song Prize alongside her collaborator, Renea Li. While attending as a Young Artist this summer, Lund coached her program with Martin Katz and performed for the Greenville community. The program was inspired by overconsumption of clean water by A.I. data centers and focused on water-related repertoire by underrepresented composers. The successful recital raised funds for a non-profit in Upstate South Carolina, TreesUpstate.
